Is your manuscript publishing ready? Is it primed for submission to an agent or publisher?

Your book is finally finished. The countless hours of frustration and creativity are over, and the anticipation of having your work published keeps you awake at night.

Then you are advised that your manuscript has been rejected because it wasn’t “publishing ready.” What may be a best-selling novel is returned to you due to awkward sentences or phrases, incorrect grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and/or continuity errors and variances with characters, plot, and settings. You get the picture.

That’s where I come in.

A perfectionist by nature, discovering errors has always come naturally to me. In fact, mistakes in restaurant menus, newspapers, or anything in print seem to flash at me like a neon sign.

I’ve been involved in editing, one way or another, since being appointed Editor-in-Chief of my high school newspaper. My love and flair for editing led me to become certified in this field.

With over ten years of experience as a freelance Certified Copy Editor and Proofreader, I have proven results in polishing creative writing—a fact that is substantiated by the plethora of commendations contained on my Testimonials page.

I am extremely passionate about my work, and every project I edit, regardless of size, is given my full and undivided attention and focus. It is very important to me personally that every client be completely satisfied.

My clientele includes publishers, best-selling and multi-award-winning authors, and THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY. I have edited both fiction and non-fiction books and have experience in all genres, with the exception of poetry, which I do not edit.

I’m very proud of the close working relationship I’ve developed with my clients. My meticulous attention to detail, quick turnaround time, affordable pricing, and proficiency in identifying errors have aided in establishing my reputation of truly caring about my clients’ work.

So let your creative juices flow, and allow me to polish your work so you can concentrate on what you do best—write!
